This role involves tasks such as inspecting roofs for damage, removing old materials, installing new roofing materials, and ensuring work areas are clean and safe.
Job Summary
We need Roofing Laborers to assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofs on residential and commercial structures. This role involves tasks such as inspecting roofs for damage, removing old materials, installing new roofing materials, and ensuring work areas are clean and safe.
Key Responsibilities
Assisting with Roof Installation and Repair:
Laborers assist experienced roofers with tasks like removing old roofing materials, applying new roofing materials (shingles, tiles, etc.), and ensuring proper installation techniques are followed.
Material Handling:
Loading and unloading roofing materials, transporting them to the work area, and ensuring they are stored safely.
Safety Compliance:
Following all safety protocols and procedures, wearing appropriate safety gear (hard hats, safety glasses, etc.), and maintaining a safe work environment.
Cleaning and Maintenance:
Cleaning work areas, removing debris, and keeping tools and equipment organized.
Inspecting Roofs:
Identifying potential problems or damage on roofs, such as leaks, missing shingles, or other issues.
Communication:
Communicating with team members and supervisors regarding work progress, materials needed, and any potential problems.
